TRANSCENDENT LOVE

A new one woman play by Skye Paez

Directed by James Hartley

Performed by Skye Paez

A bold new queer romance

What happens when the fairy tale ends and real life begins?

Aurora, a transgender woman, meets Francois and falls headlong into love. But as secrets surface and truths unravel, she’s forced to confront a question many of us face: can love truly set us free?

Told through one voice and many hearts, Transcendent Love is a raw and lyrical one woman show about identity, betrayal, and the courage to become who you truly are. With humour, grace, and unflinching honesty, this debut play by Skye Paez explores what it means to live and love beyond the binary.

Celebrating the power of queer resilience, Transcendent Love is a tribute to those who have ever felt invisible and a love letter to the most important relationship of all: the one we have with ourselves.

An over the top satire that rips apart a 16th century play and bleaches it with 21st American politics, Trumpurlaine the Great asks 'how do we solve a problem like li'l Donnie?'

THE SIX-SIDED STAGE

Created by Atlas Adams

Directed by James Hartley

An improvised adventure where the audience decides what happens!

The Upper Crass Players are performing their brand new interactive improvised show at Sydney Fringe!

Our heroes will go on a fantasy adventure and you, the audience, get to decide who we are, what we do, and who we meet with the roll of the dice determining our success.

Will our hero be a sloth assassin, vulture veterinarian, or a lone wolf detective?

Will they be solving a murder, fighting a war, or pulling off a heist?

Should they help the banker find a doctor, kill them for the vault keys, or something original that you made up?

Come and join our performers because without you THE SHOW WILL NOT BE THE SAME!

IMPROV JAMS

Our jams are a casual and relaxed way to experiment with improvisation in a safe and supportive environment with like-minded people. Members of our troupe will be there giving feedback and guidance as well as jamming and trying out new things along with everyone else. People from all levels of experience are welcome to jam and we’ve had people attend with no performing experience at all to actors who are professional improvisers.

We are currently not holding any jams. If you’d like to be notified when the next block is announced, subscribe to our newsletter below.

By signing up you aren’t making any commitments to the jams and there is no expectation to attend all of them in a block - it’s just helpful for us to know numbers and who to expect. We don’t want our jams to be stressful or demanding on anyone - think of it as a friendly board games night where we play with whoever wants to show up!
